Ideologies !!!

Whom should i vote for? This is the biggest chaos my mind has been dealing for months, since the inception of the nationwide elections. And one of the worst nightmares these elections have brought is that my Facebook time line is flocked with promotional videos , pictures of various political parties. Now i hardly see any pictures of my friends getting married, no posts telling the  place where they are dining and with whom, which movie they are in, no posts telling they are feeling happy, Sad , irritated. If i look into one perspective of this,it really speaks that the country is getting a bit more involved into things of real concern i.e. the national politics. But the other perspective really makes me sick, the way few of my friends are endorsing the political leaders of their choice. Some of them simply seem rude and offensive. Even i have seen comments where a person feels that the different choices of political parties might also lead to ruin their friendship. I don't feel t...

The Gladiator !!

Sachin Tendulkar,Brian lara,Ricky ponting,Jacques kallis, kumar sangakara, inzamam. What is that which strikes our mind when we talk about these bunch of guys. They all were the most premier batsmen of the modern era. Apart from these greats we had greats in the bowling arena too. Bowlers like waqar, akram, akhtar,Mcgrath,War ne,Lee,Gillespie, muralitharan, vans, ambrose,Walsh,Donald, stey n ,pollock were always there to terrorise the batsmen and make their feet dwindle. But apart from Tendulkar each of the batsmen was fortunate enough to avoid facing atleast few of the bowlers, reason they were team mates. Like ponting was fortunate enough to never face the spinning mysteries of Warne, nor the dead accurate deliveries of Mcgrath and Co with almost the whole team standing at slip cordon. Likewise inzi never had to face the fierce toe breaking yorkers from waqar, nor the reverse swing from wasim which bent like a banana, and the maniac pace from the rawalpindi express. Lara never had to spent s...

Yuvi..

It was a one month long hysteria which concluded with India getting thumped by Sri Lanka in the world T20 finale. Surely it was not a great news for any of the cricket fans in India. So it ought to have reactions. But reactions to that extent that one makes personal attacks to one of the greatest match winners of all time. Our own Yuvi i.e. Yuvraj Singh. Even in my Facebook timeline I could see people going berserk over the innings Yuvraj played in the finale. Few people even called him a moron which wasn't justifiable. The thing i could get out from this was that anybody who ever had played any form of cricket didn't blamed yuvi for the innings. Yes everyone might be disappointed. But What was it that those people didn’t blamed Yuvi for the loss. The reason was that those people could see the world from Yuvi’s eyes. They knew that anybody can have an off day at the field. They even had their share of off days. The gist is that they tried to be in Yuvi's shoes...

Yaari

I could had walked alone and could had gone faster, But i held you hand and we reached there late. But i don't repent. I could had not waited for you , But i waited for you and i missed the first half of my favorite movie. But i don't repent. I could had spent the day as per my plan, But i did what you thought we should do. But i don't repent. I could had studied a bit more, but i went with you on a evening stroll. But i don't repent. I could had done something which i knew was absolutely correct, But i did something which you thought was absurd but was worth exploring. But i don't repent. I could had slept till noon on a weekend morning, But i woke up early because you had again had caught the fever of playing early morning cricket. But i don't repent. I could had bought that favorite jacket of mine , but instead i bought one that you thought was cool. But i don't repent. Kudos to the numerous things which we do for our friends and for the strong ...

The Transition !!

I have recently got married and i am about to turn 29 . These facts really make me feel old. Though i am trying hard to never look like that. Our lunch sessions in office often turn out to be discussion forums on various things around us. AAP and Arvind Kejriwal were the two recent things which got the most of the share of the forum. One fine day the discussion started if each of us remembers how many cell phones we have bought/used till date. 4 was my number. Some had a hysteric 28 as the number. Then the things turned to the period when cell phones didn't existed. Then we visited the period when we had either no or small screen black n white televisions at our place, the period when cricket was synonymous to Tendulkar. That time we didn't had any DTH neither any cable connections.Often the overseas cricket match results could only be heard on the news. Doordarshan was the sole thing which kept the mundane black n white ( Read : calm ) life moving. Now we can switch ...

Dilemma !!!

It was a perfect saturday eve with an overcast sky with a cool breeze.I was walking up the stairs of the metro station with earphones plugged in my ears, with one of my fav track "Zinda" played on them. Suddenly something clinged onto my feet. Before i could grumble on what it was , i saw a kid there holding my feet. A sweet little kid with golden hair and no he was not blonde it was just the lack of oiling which had made them so. He surely didn't had a bath from weeks but still he looked cute.He was there to ask for some money,i won't say that he was begging rather he was made to beg. Because such a small kid won't know anything about money. At most if he wants ,he could ask for the cold drink bottle i had in my hand , something to eat or some other random stuff. I just smiled and said "Leave me beta" and walked ahead. But as if he was trained that if somebody smiles then he is a probable who would surely shell out few bucks from his pocket, he just...

Religion less..

A world so free that i can fly like a bird. Travel like air, love like god. Care like a mother.. Words so innocent that they can't even pierce the air, Faith so strong that i don't doubt somebody else's. Learning so pure so it couldn't be condemned or doubted.. Smile so intoxicating that i can make a heartbroken fellow smile. A walk so swift that i don't fear to be left alone. A speech so true that it could inspire humanity. Deeds so pure that they could be repeated. A Life so meaningful that i could conclude that i actually lived and existed. ------------- Humanity is the biggest gift that the race living on the planet earth has ever got. But to keep up with this is a task which requires umpteen skills. This world has always depicted great examples of apathy, but likewise there have been stains on this bright sky of humanity. The "Holocaust" is one of the clear examples of this in-humanity, 60 million Jews were tortured , made devoid...
