Yuvi..

It was a one month long hysteria which concluded with India getting thumped by Sri Lanka in the world T20 finale. Surely it was not a great news for any of the cricket fans in India. So it ought to have reactions. But reactions to that extent that one makes personal attacks to one of the greatest match winners of all time. Our own Yuvi i.e. Yuvraj Singh.

Even in my Facebook timeline I could see people going berserk over the innings Yuvraj played in the finale. Few people even called him a moron which wasn't justifiable.

The thing i could get out from this was that anybody who ever had played any form of cricket didn't blamed yuvi for the innings. Yes everyone might be disappointed. But What was it that those people didn’t blamed Yuvi for the loss.

The reason was that those people could see the world from Yuvi’s eyes. They knew that anybody can have an off day at the field. They even had their share of off days. The gist is that they tried to be in Yuvi's shoes, and once they did they had an entire perspective of the thing.

This depicts certain phases of life when we judge somebody's deeds. We merely judge a person's deeds by simply seeing how has it affected us.

Do we ever try to be in his shoes, in the circumstances which he faced.

Could you spot a face with more grave feelings than what Yuvi’s face had on the finale night. He was already suffering. Suffering because he knew that he could do what he had been doing for years i.e. Win us matches. Get a loud cheer from the crowd instead of the booing. Get a fist thump from the partner at the pitch instead of seeing him getting frustrated.

Nobody wants to be in a mess, Nobody wants to be on the losing end. But if somebody ends up in there he does not needs to be attacked personally he needs people to stand up for him, especially when he has given numerous occasions to cheer to the same bunch of people.

P.S: Felt very bad since the day Yuvraj Singh was singled out for the defeat in the world cup finals. This post has surely helped me to vent out some of the feelings.

P.P.S : Yuvraj Singh has been the one of the greatest match winners for India and I would hate to see such a great career end with just one bad day.
