WOW...is this an Acronym for a word?

India is WOW, these were the words of my Israeli fellow passenger…It was one of the weekend trips when I was travelling back from home to Delhi…this time my mom was also with me..It is the first time that she would be with me in Delhi... Well this is my own belief, don’t know to how many I contradict, that journey in a Train is a best way to travel. You meet people and often you have to socialize coz you have to share a good amount of time in the journey. During this journey I met an Israeli Tourist. He was quite a good chap to talk to. And the best part was that he has visited so much of India that I believe I wouldn’t be able to do in my life..He had explored almost the whole northern India. And his Quest was still on. and good great god he was travelling alone..i can't imagine being aloone at my place, and for him the reason behind that was to find some peace, get to know new people in this whole new country INDIA... I got to know from him that it is mandatory for eve...

Black OR White?

Image
Life is a thing full of contrast…It often shows up with things which are in a perfect contrast as I would say in a black or white…. In course of life you must have had moments which made you Happy and a bit Sad. You must have cried with a smile...You must have witnessed days when it was Raining with Sunshine… I got inspired to pen down this post coz I too got into such a feeling few days back. I had got an opportunity to do something that had made me Happy n Sad both…A lot of introspection and after weighing down the things I figured out that it would be better if I stick out of it… Well I had to choose out from two decisions, one of which was from my Think Less and Act more Mind and the other decision was from my Dude you won’t be Happy after doing this Mind. (Well this doesn’t mean I have two brains) And deciding from both of them wasn’t that easy..But I guess I chose the right thing..Coz After that I am often seeing myself smiling...and it wouldn’t had been the ca...

World Beyond Her...

Few things in life never change…and one of those things is how you feel for someone…. Well whether it be the first day in the college... Be it the day when I first saw her..I knew she would be the one who would be there making me sleep less and think more. And me the Bravo didn’t even tried to talk to her...But seeing her enter the class and her smile were the things that made my day…It was all Fortune that we got in talking terms...Then one fine day we were friends…Grt friends... We hanged out together…Her voice was what made my world go upside down… But then came the most unwanted thing Differences…I don’t know what went wrong..I didn’t wanted the things to go as they were going…Still hate remembering her frowned face on one of those days…those eyes with tears and a smile on the Face… When I couldn’t bear that..i finally asked “Kya Hua”…and “Kuch Nahi” was her reply...but the 5 second stare after that Kuch Nahi made me feel that “Kuch to tha”… Probably she knew what I felt ...

Time Magazine’s quote on Sachin: “When Sachin Tendulkar travelled to Pakistan to face one of the finest bowling attacks ever assembled in cricket, Michael Schumacher was yet to race a F1 car, Lance Armstrong had never been to the Tour de France, Diego Maradona was still the captain of a world champion Argentina team, Pete Sampras had never won a Grand Slam. When Tendulkar embarked on a glorious career taming Imran and company, Roger Federer was a name unheard of; Lionel Messi was in his nappies, Usain Bolt was an unknown kid in the Jamaican backwaters. The Berlin Wall was still intact, USSR was one big, big country, Dr Manmohan Singh was yet to “open” the Nehruvian economy. It seems while Time was having his toll on every individual on the face of this planet, he excused one man. Time stands frozen in front of Sachin Tendulkar. We have had champions, we have had legends, but we have never had another Sachin Tendulkar and we never will.”

The Saint..Picked up from CricInfo.com

Well like every other Indian i am a great fan of Sachin Tendulkar... Recently went through an article at CricInfo.com that appeared in the November 2003 issue of Wisden Asia Cricket. That was really awesome...I personally liked the last paragraph of the article,i have marked that para and italicized it for the ease of finding it......Here follows : *********** The two keenest appreciations of Sachin Tendulkar were made from vantage points that could not have been more opposite to each other, and together serve as an incontrovertible cross-reference to his greatness. The first was Sir Donald Bradman's famous remark to his wife during the1996 World Cup that Tendulkar put him in mind of how he himself batted. The second is the widespread understanding in the cricket community that match-fixers will not successfully get on with their crooked business until Tendulkar is out, and an anecdotal account of how Tendulkar once unwittingly ruined a fix by batting too blissfully well. ...

Harsha Bhogle on Sachin Tendulkar...But still I don’t want to be in those shoes.

Remember when you failed an examination. How many people recall that, your class, friends, relatives? You failed to make it to the IITs or IIMs. Who remembers. How many times have you had the feeling of being the best in your class, school , university, state….., you failed to get a visa stamped this quarter…, you missed a promotion this year…, how did it feel when you dad told you in your early twenties that you are good for nothing…..and now your boss tell you the same… You keep introspecting and go into a shell when people most of whom don’t matter a dime in your life criticize you, back bite you, make fun of you. You are left sad and shattered and you cry when your own kin scoffs at...
