14,000 Bucks

There are moments in life which u remember for quite a time...This happened with me last Saturday. A perfect weekend evening,with a slight chill that signifies soon to arrive winters in Delhi...We were Strolling at Connaught place (C.P) one of the up-Market plush regions of Delhi..

As we passed through a Woodland Store...A jacket that was there on one of Dummies caught my eye..It was a nice leather jacket.

We entered in, and i had a try for the jacket.Man it fitted nice and i was kinda looking great (No pun intended)...
I just turned and asked the store executive "What's the price of this?"

And what he said left me with a burst of laughter, and "Crap" was what i screamed...14,000 bucks was what he had said...

I din't expected it to be cheap but didn't expected it to be this much...I just got out of the cosy and smart jacket and handed it over to the executive...He was smiling too and i saw my laughter had made couple of eyes more staring at me..

We were on our way back...I was still thinking about the Jacket...and i just asked my friend "Yaar vo majak to nahi kar raha tha" (Hope he was not joking)...

And this time it was my friend who burst out with a laugh...And there were few more ackward looks from people around us.
They might be thinking "Poor Civic Sense"...

Her teeth were shining just like some beautiful white stones..The most enigmatic smiles i had ever seen. Ideologies !!!

Whom should i vote for? This is the biggest chaos my mind has been dealing for months, since the inception of the nationwide elections. And one of the worst nightmares these elections have brought is that my Facebook time line is flocked with promotional videos , pictures of various political parties. Now i hardly see any pictures of my friends getting married, no posts telling the  place where they are dining and with whom, which movie they are in, no posts telling they are feeling happy, Sad , irritated. If i look into one perspective of this,it really speaks that the country is getting a bit more involved into things of real concern i.e. the national politics. But the other perspective really makes me sick, the way few of my friends are endorsing the political leaders of their choice. Some of them simply seem rude and offensive. Am i there?

It is 8:20 PM IST on a friday , my phone just got discharged completely and i don't have any zoom meetings till the next 40 minutes. So my anxiety made me think how to spend these 40 minutes, the only resort i found was my laptop and i turned into my blogger account, and i just realized i haven't posted anything since 5 years , yes 5 long Years.  My last post was published on July 16,2015. Out of nostalgia i read few of my posts which i didn't even recalled writing. Well there were some lines which i realized were not that bad but surely there were some cliches too.
